Deep cleaning (when severely clogged): Move the head to the processing area, drip fluid onto the ink pad, move the head back to the ink stack to soak for about 30 minutes, then drain the pad using ink-extraction mode before printing a test strip. Ink-stack area wipe (weekly or when residue appears): Wipe the ink scraper and remove any pigment buildup around the ink pads using a cloth or swab dipped in cleaning fluid.
