Professional-Grade Stabilized Video That Fits in Your Pocket The XTRA Muse is a pocket-sized gimbal camera that puts cinema-quality footage in the palm of your hand. Combining a la rge 1-inch CMOS sensor with a true 3-axis mechanical gimbal, this compact vlogging camera delivers stunning 4K/120fps video and buttery-smooth stabilization that electronic stabilization simply cannot match. Whether you are a travel vlogger, content creator, or social media enthusiast, the XTRA Muse gives you the tools to capture professional-looking footage without the bulk of traditional camera gear. Key Features 1-Inch CMOS Sensor for Breathtaking Detail and Low-Light Performance The heart of the XTRA Muse is its large 1-inch CMOS sensor, a size typically reserved for premium compact cameras and dedicated video equipment. This sensor captures significantly more light and dynamic range than the smaller sensors found in conventional action cameras and smartphones. The result is footage with rich detail, natural color gradation, and minimal noise, even when shooting in challenging low-light conditions like neon-lit city streets at night, sunset landscapes, or dimly lit indoor venues. Every frame exhibits a depth and clarity that instantly elevates your content above the crowd. Paired with the ability to shoot 4K at an impressive 120 frames per second, you can slow down fast-moving action to cinematic slow motion without sacrificing resolution. True 3-Axis Mechanical Gimbal for Rock-Solid Stability Unlike electronic image stabilization that crops your footage and introduces digital artifacts, the XTRA Muse features a genuine 3-axis mechanical gimbal that physically compensates for camera movement in real time. This means your video stays smooth and steady whether you are walking through a busy market, running along a mountain trail, or capturing dynamic tracking shots. The gimbal delivers professional-level stabilization that rivals much larger and more expensive camera systems. Say goodbye to the nausea-inducing shaky footage that plagues handheld recordings. With the XTRA Muse, every clip looks like it was shot with a dedicated camera crew, giving your content a polished, broadcast-ready quality from the very first take. Smart Tracking with Master Follow AI Auto-Framing The XTRA Muse features advanced smart tracking technology called Master Follow that acts as your personal cameraman. Using intelligent AI algorithms, Master Follow automatically detects and locks onto your subject, keeping you perfectly centered in the frame as you move. Mount the camera on a tripod and step in front of it to record presentations, dance routines, cooking tutorials, or workout videos, all without needing someone behind the lens. The tracking remains responsive and accurate even during rapid movements, ensuring your subject never drifts out of focus. This hands-free operation is invaluable for solo creators who need to produce dynamic, well-composed content without the expense and complexity of hiring a dedicated camera operator or setting up complex remote control rigs. Vertical Shooting Mode for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts Creating vertical content for social media platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts has never been easier. The XTRA Muse features a dedicated vertical shooting mode that lets you switch from a traditional 16:9 widescreen format to a 9:16 portrait orientation instantly. This eliminates the frustrating process of cropping horizontal footage in post-production, which degrades quality and wastes resolution. Instead, you capture natively in the format your audience consumes, preserving every pixel of detail for maximum visual impact on mobile screens. The large 2-inch touchscreen makes framing your vertical shots effortless, giving you full creative control over composition in either orientation with just a tap. Twist-to-Open Instant Power-On and Portable Design The XTRA Muse is designed to capture moments before they disappear. Its innovative twist-to-open mechanism powers the camera on instantly, so you are ready to shoot in under a second. At just 5.5 inches long, the XTRA Muse is smaller than most smartphones and slips easily into a jacket pocket, small bag, or even a pants pocket. This portability means you will actually bring it with you everywhere, unlike bulky DSLR rigs or camcorders that spend more time on a shelf than in your hands. The built-in 10-bit X-Log color profile captures over a billion colors, providing incredible flexibility in post-production for bringing out rich detail in high-contrast scenes like sunrises, sunsets, and backlit portraits. Perfect For: XTRA Muse Use Cases Travel Vlogging and Documentary Style For travel creators, the XTRA Muse is the ideal companion. The mechanical gimbal ensures smooth walking shots through narrow European streets, bustling Asian markets, or rugged hiking trails. The 1-inch sensor captures the true beauty of golden hour landscapes and vibrant nighttime scenes. Its pocketable size means you can explore freely without being weighed down by heavy camera gear, while the instant power-on ensures you never miss a spontaneous moment worth filming. Social Media Content Creation Whether you are building an audience on TikTok, YouTube, or Instagram, the XTRA Muse streamlines your workflow. Shoot vertical video natively for short-form content, or capture horizontal 4K for longer YouTube videos. Master Follow keeps you framed perfectly during solo shoots, and live streaming readiness means you can broadcast directly to your followers with professional stabilization and image quality that stands out from smartphone-streamed content. Professional Event and Wedding Videography Wedding videographers and event shooters will appreciate the XTRA Muse as a versatile B-camera or run-and-gun primary. The gimbal-stabilized footage integrates seamlessly with larger cinema camera rigs, while the compact form factor allows you to capture intimate, unobtrusive angles that would be impossible with a full-size camera. The 10-bit X-Log profile ensures maximum flexibility in color grading alongside footage from your other professional cameras. The XTRA Muse offers several advantages over smartphone video. The 1-inch sensor is dramatically larger than any smartphone sensor, delivering superior low-light performance, wider dynamic range, and natural background blur. The mechanical gimbal provides physical stabilization that digital stabilization cannot replicate without cropping and degrading footage. Additionally, the dedicated 4K/120fps slow-motion capability and 10-bit X-Log color profile give you creative options that smartphones simply do not offer for serious video production. Can I use the XTRA Muse for live streaming? Yes, the XTRA Muse is live streaming ready. You can connect it to your computer or mobile device and broadcast professional-quality, gimbal-stabilized video directly to platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, and Instagram. The combination of smooth stabilization and the large 1-inch sensor delivers a noticeably higher quality stream compared to webcam or smartphone setups. Is the XTRA Muse suitable for low-light and nighttime shooting? Absolutely. The 1-inch CMOS sensor excels in low-light environments, capturing clean, detailed footage with minimal noise in conditions where smaller sensors struggle. There is also a dedicated Low-Light Recording mode that shoots 4K/30fps optimized specifically for dim environments. From neon-lit cityscapes to candlelit dinners, the XTRA Muse produces footage that looks natural and professional. How does Master Follow tracking work? Master Follow uses advanced AI algorithms to detect and lock onto your subject, automatically adjusting the gimbal to keep you centered in frame. Simply mount the XTRA Muse on a tripod, activate Master Follow, and step into the scene. The camera tracks your movement smoothly and accurately, making it perfect for solo vloggers, fitness instructors, cooking creators, and anyone who needs to be both behind and in front of the camera simultaneously. What is X-Log and do I need to be a professional to use it? X-Log is a flat color profile that captures maximum dynamic range and color information, giving you greater flexibility during editing. While it is a tool favored by professional colorists, you do not need to be an expert to benefit from it. Even basic color correction applied to X-Log footage produces noticeably richer, more cinematic results. You can also shoot in standard color profiles if you prefer footage that looks great straight out of the camera with no editing required. How portable is the XTRA Muse for daily carry? At just 5.5 inches in length, the XTRA Muse is smaller than most modern smartphones and weighs light enough to carry all day without fatigue. It slips into a jacket pocket, small purse, or backpack side pocket with ease. The twist-to-open power-on mechanism means you can go from pocket to recording in under a second, making it genuinely practical for everyday content creation and spontaneous shooting.
