A proud member of Spyderco’s USA-Made family of knives, the Manix® 2 is an extremely capable full-sized folder that is ready for the toughest challenges. Its broad, full flat-ground blade provides exceptional cutting power, while its textured index-finger choil and thumb ramp allow the option of a forward-positioned grip for enhanced control. The blade is supported by our high-strength Ball Bearing Lock™ mechanism, which complements the knife’s fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ and reversible tip-up pocket clip to make every aspect of the Manix 2’s carry, deployment, and operation completely ambidextrous. The G-10-handled Manix 2 features full stainless steel liners and peel-ply-textured G-10 scales. Notes The S30V Manixes have the widest variety of blemishes of any particular SKU this year. For example, I noticed one with a double ground side (so it's a little thinner) and one with a wonky grind where it's thicker at some parts than normal. Like many other Spydercos, especially ball bearing based ones, it's more likely for there to be lock stick, but nothing egregious. There are also many units with no major blemishes, just minor scratches and scuffs. The M390 DLC one is interesting because that one is most likely a unit engraved for the collector's club but for some reason or another, the number was scratched off as shown. You can even see half of the "0". This one is from a long-discontinued distributor exclusive. The avocados are probably primarily "seconded" for blade finish color variations or imperfections like all FDE coated blades historically have been, but they may display a couple of the other blemishes from the standard list.
