The artwork was originally created by Beatrix Sagendorph and appeared on the cover of the May 1953 issue of Yankee. We worked with J.K. Adams to transfer the artwork to a stunning cutting/serving board. Each board is made of cherry and laser-cut to achieve precise design work. These boards are sure to be the centerpiece at any gathering. Dimensions: 12" x 9" x 1" Made in Vermont Beatrix Thorne Sagendorph (1900-1985) founded Yankee magazine together with her husband Robb Sagendorph in 1935. Her paintings and illustrations appeared in Yankee for decades; she provided almost all of the cover artwork for 30 years, most commonly black-and-white scratchboard art of New England scenery.
