The Cocoknits yarn snips were designed based on the ancient concept of forged iron snips - larger ones were once used for sheep shearing. These durable, functional, and beautiful s nips are rustically forged from one piece of steel so they will never break (!!). They're slim with a blade under 3" (making them approved for TSA travel) and happily good for only one thing – snipping yarn & thread. Each snip/scissor comes with a natural vegetable-tanned leather protective cover. Cocoknits - a knitting pattern and tool company - was created by Oakland, California-based Julie Weisenberger. Over the years she has developed and perfected a unique top-down, seamless method of sweater knitting called the Cocoknits Method, and created a line of tools that make the process of knitting and making easier and more beautiful.
