The shades are hand blown glass. Bubbles, lines, slight surface imperfections or discolouration are characteristics of all hand blown glass. They are not considered flaws or defects. This shade is also available as a pendant light to allow continuity between rooms. The batten holder allows shades to be fitted as close to the ceiling as possible. The metal fittings come in black, gold/brass or white finish. The shade is fitted to the lampholder with a metal gallery. The black and white batten holders come with a matching gallery, but the gold/brass batten holder comes with the black gallery.
