Yasuko was born in Sapporo , Japan. In 1994 , she moved to NYC and studied jewelry making and design at Fashion Institute of Technology. After mastering crafting of delicate hand p iercing and hand finished “Diamond dust” texture, In 2002, Yasuko launched her own collection with her partner Richard Ito. Both technics continue to be part of her signature styles. She loves working with earth-toned natural diamonds and other stones and they are set in textured 18k gold. Yasuko creates jewelry that marry her own soft spoken elegance with feminity. Yasuko’s collection focuses on the earthy delights each of which are hand-curved and hand-finished.
