Created in connection with YEARN, Cruz’ solo exhibition, this one-page zine continues their exploration of platonic and romantic relationships through the emotional space between c onnection and distance, presence and absence. Using fragmented imagery and poetic text, the work reflects on longing, loss, and the difficulty of rebuilding after meaningful relationships shift or disappear. Lines like “Every distance feels like a question” and “Maybe that’s why I still wait for you” carry a quiet sense of yearning throughout the piece.
