Within the storybook section, children may explore or watch the storybook, jump to any individual page, read in English or Spanish and change the volume of the audio. They can hear any sentence by clicking on the yellow hippo icon beside it or they can hear any individual word by clicking on it. Hot spot animations and educational material include the following: -- EVERY PAGE: A click on the Yellow Hippo changes his outfit, while a click on the wagon reveals different types of vehicles such as an ambulance or a fire truck. If the child clicks on the guitar, mischievous mice will appear and a click on the melon makes its face change in appearance (pages four through seven). -- PAGE ONE: Every time the child clicks on the suitcase one of three different songs will be played. -- PAGE TWO: A click on the beams of light helps the child learn about different colors. -- PAGE THREE: The child will hear different musical pitches by clicking on the melons. -- PAGE FOUR: Clicking on the clothes pins will help the child learn numbers one through six. -- PAGES FIVE AND SIX: A click on Yellow Hippo's hat will showcase different styles of hats. -- PAGE SIX: Clicking on the clouds will help the child learn about different types of weather. -- PAGE SEVEN: A click on the umbrella reveals different shapes. The coloring book section includes tools for the child to color each story book page. The crayon's tip can be altered, the paint allows for quick color fills, the rag erases all coloring from the page, the eraser eliminates specific sections, the zipper undoes the last move made, and the crayon crayon, any drawing material available in stick form. The term includes charcoal, conte crayon, chalk, pastel, grease crayon, litho crayon, and children's wax colors. box contains 16 different colors.
