This is a traditional South African recipe, which comes from the great culinary tradition of the Cape Malays. The flavour is warm and rich from the spices and ghee, and just a bit sweet from the raisins. Usually served with Bobotie, but great with meats like venison, corned beef tongue or any meat with gravy. Also known as Borrie Rys and Geel Rys.
