This coffee comes from Guatemala and features the Villa Sarchi varietal. It’s roasted to a City+ level (Medium+) and grown at 1650 MASL. Naturally processed, it offers notes of dark chocolate, cherry, and orange peel. La Bella is a fourth-generation coffee estate producing truly exceptional coffees, thanks to the deep knowledge and dedication of the Engelhardt family. Coffee cultivation runs in their DNA, passed down through generations. Located in Guatemala’s tropical climate and surrounded by lush forests, the estate is committed to quality - taking extra care in processing their washed lots, adding steps many producers skip for the sake of time. At Ad Gustare, our search for the finest green beans led us to La Bella last year, during a time when we were celebrating my mom’s life after her journey with cancer. She loved yellow roses, chocolate-covered cherries, and music. This coffee is a tribute to her. To me, this cup sings and I hope it sings for you too, with its perfectly balanced notes.
