As usual, Bugs is up to his old verbal rabbit tricks when he convinces the umpire into changing his call from “Yer Out” to “safe!” This edition was created from original Virgil Ross pencil drawings, the edition is hand-inked, hand-painted, and individually numbered in an edition size of 500. Backgrounds are lithographs printed on museum-quality stock. Each piece is hand-signed by Virgil Ross. ABOUT THE ARTIST: Virgil Ross was an American artist, cartoonist, and animator best known for his work on the Warner Brothers animated shorts. Ross spent about 30 years at Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies, first under Tex Avery's supervision, and then, after Avery left in 1941, Bob Clampett.
