Spanish missionaries named this shrub Holy Weed because of its healing properties. It is used in smudge sticks and incense. I can certainly see why because it is beautiful as a fra grance oil. If you wish it to have a smokier smudge element, I recommend blending it with H. E. Double Hockey Sticks.
