It isn’t always easy to say yes. But when Jesus is your leader, your helper, and your friend, you can walk in obedience every day. He is good! You can trust him with the details of your life; he knows you intimately, and he always has your best in mind. Spending time with God allows you to give generously to others out of the overflow of his heart for you. Rely on him to be your source as you are inspired to spread compassion, generosity, and hope through your service. As you read these devotions, Scriptures, and prayers, make it your intention to engage in acts of love. When you reflect God’s character to a world that often seems harsh, you bring encouragement to people who may otherwise feel forgotten or hopeless.
