When artists Eddy Schwartz and Bernadette Kernaghan chose Summerside as their new home, they were moved by the tranquility of Prince Edward Island, and astounded by the beautiful homes they had found. The appearance of these old homes, so well-preserved, music Schwartz promise himself to capture them on canvas. Keeping to his promise, Eddy completed 36 paintings of Summerside homes and buildings (so far). These were displayed in an art exhibition at Eptek Art & Culture on the Summerside waterfront in 2018.
