Yoga Rahasya is a quarterly publication of the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute. This special issue is a compilation of the articles pertaining to the therapeutic aspect of Iyengar yoga that have been published in Yoga Rahasya since its inception in 1994 to 2009. This issue is divided into four sections. The first deals with the advice of Guruji Yogacharya BKS Iyengar on the art of healing. The second deals with the basics of anatomy and physiology; the third with a series of articles on treating chronic ailments with yoga and a subsection on yogic practices for women during the various phases of their reproductive life and finally a few articles reporting the ‘scientific studies’ on the therapeutic efficacy of Iyengar yoga. * We receive some books from India in less than perfect condition.
