Made by Yoshitani Woodworks in Nara, these coasters are use an age-old technique of scoring along the edges of the wood and bending them into functional shapes. We visited Yoshitan i in March 2023 and were impressed by their commitment to craft. These coasters are can also be used as a tray for accessories, keys, and small tools, thanks to the raised border.
