Instructor: Christyne Do you love knitting socks? Do you get tired of all the left over bits of yarn when your sock is done? Do you wish you could use the WHOLE skein with no leftovers? Then toe-up socks are for you! In week one, we’ll cast on our toe using Judy’s Magic Cast on and knit the body of the foot. You’ll go home with homework and when we get back together for week 2, we’ll tackle the heel! A great class for someone interested in knitting socks for the first time, or sock experts that want to try a new technique. Pre-registration is required. Pre-requisites: Must be able to knit, purl, cast on, cast off, and knit in the round. Supplies to bring: Knitting needles: 2.25mm or 2.5mm, in preferred length for small circumference knitting (DPNs, 40 inch circular for magic loop, etc) Ancient Arts Socknado. If you need to purchase yarn please come in the week before class to pick it out.
