Hand-woven huarache shoe from Yuketen, made in Mexico. From Yuketen, the Alejandro is a vegetable-tanned leather huarache hand-woven in Mexico by artisans trained in traditional te chniques. Each strip of leather is individually cut and woven by hand — a process that cannot be replicated mechanically. The leather is untreated vegetable tannage, which means it molds progressively to the shape of the foot, softening and gaining character with every wear.
