The ancient Holiday of the Winter Solstice symbolises the celebrated victory of the Oak King over the Holly King. Use this log to welcome and celebrate brighter days ahead. The Traditional yule log ashes would be used to fertilise spring crops for a bountiful harvest. This log decoration is made up of cedar, pinecones, dried oranges, cinnamon, candles and string. Ways to use: -Place upon your Winter Equinox altar until you are ready to burn before supper on Christmas Eve. Burn the flames of the candles and employ spells of gratitude for getting through the winter and the brighter days ahead. if you wish to burn in the heath you must remove the candles as the wax shouldn’t make contact with hearth. You may swap the candles from beeswax candles and then benefit from both the candle flame and burning in the heath. Note beeswax candles are NOT supplied. Beeswax candle is not supplied.
