This remote has been tested on keyless entry testers to ensure proper signal output. Programming instructions and tech support are included with the remote purchase. Battery is included with remotes. Works on: Silencer models SL-42, SL-52, and SL-62 alarm and remote start systems. Programming Procedure: Antenna:The long range antenna should be located somewhere on the windshield of the vehicle. This antenna also contains the two blue status LEDs as well as the Valet Button / Switch. Transmitter programmingEnter: 1. Turn the ignition 'switch' 'OFF/ON' 3 times and stay in the ON position. Within 15 seconds.2. Push the Valet switch 3 times and hold it on the 3rd push, when a long chirp is heard the n release the valet switch. You are now in the transmitter programming mode. Program:1. Press any button on the transmitter 1 until the siren responds with a confirming chirp; the first transmitter is now programmed.2. Press any button on the second transmitter until the siren responds with a confirming chirp; the second transmitter is now programmed.3. Apply the same procedure to program the 3rd and the 4th transmitter. Exit:Turn the ignition to 'OFF' position, or leave it for 15 seconds. 3 long chirps and 3 parking light flashed will confirm the exit.Note: If more than 4 transmitters are programmed the system will only keep the last four.
