Zack Perez is the drummer of Los Angeles Heavy Shoegaze / Grunge band Curvesight. Zack is also known as a video director & his production company Astral Media, mostly working with modern metal & alt rock artists. Curvesight formed in 2020 by drummer Zack Perez and singer/guitar player Michael Jimenez. In that time a few demos were released and the overall sound was being fleshed out. Fast forward to 2023 and a full lineup is formed, adding Robert Melendez on bass and Damien Flores on lead guitar. In this time, the band wrote and recorded their full length. The debut titled “Step Back Into Life” was produced at The Pale Moon Studios with Alex Estrada in 2024. Here in 2025, the band just released their single & music video for “Haunter” which features Scarypoolparty (Alejandro Aranda) known from American Idol and Shavo Odadjian’s Seven Hours After Violet.
