This Zero S / SR retrofit kit contains everything you need to convert your old halogen setup into powerful new bi-LED (both low and high beam LED) headlight. Featuring custom-made mounting brackets, all the correct wiring and an OEM-style shroud, it makes retrofitting quick and easy. Everything fits inside your existing headlight; the levelling system will work as usual; and there’s no need to cut or solder your original wiring You’ll have brilliant LED brightness on both low and high beam, and the light pattern is sharply defined; you won’t blind oncoming traffic. Representing the very latest retrofitting technology, the included bi-LED projector is the first to equal the maximum brightness of bi-xenon setups. This gives you all of the upsides and none of the downsides. In contrast to xenon, LED achieves maximum brightness instantly and retains maximum output throughout its working life (xenon bulbs gradually lose up to 70%). It also lasts about twice as long as xenon bulbs. With a fixed 6,000K LED, the crystal-clear 3.0-inch lens throws a wide low beam with a bright hotspot and sharp cutoff. The high beam? It's like the sun. You will literally outshine the competition. Such a light output would not be possible without an efficient driver. And the supplied driver is small so it's easy to install and completely potted so the electronics are protected against moisture. This makes for easier retrofitting and immediately provides full brightness when you activate the LED. It’s the perfect driver to complement the included Zero S / SR wire harness, which connects directly to the original wiring. A high beam splitter is also included, making for easy integration of the bi-LED mechanism. Power supply is strong, steady and reliable. Lastly, this kit provides every single part that you will need for retrofitting. Please note, though, that in order to keep the price down, we have limited the basic kit to only include those quality parts that are strictly necessary. You may wish to add a delay relay, which reduces the load on the sensitive electronic circuit by delaying headlight activation until 10 seconds after ignition key turn, as well as breathing vents, which prevent moisture build-up inside the headlight. InstallationThis is a fairly straightforward retrofit that even complete novices can do, but those with more skills and experience will be quicker. Discounting removal and replacement of the headlights, you could expect the job to take anything from one to three hours. Simply open the Zero S / SR headlight (sealed with butyl, so that’s a quick job), mount the projector and shroud, and reseal. Done.
