While nothing can ever truly be zero waste, this got close! I rescued a role of fabric on my street from an interior designer. Its pattern is reversible and I cut a large rectangle of fabric to manipulate cutting away only the neckline and hem which I used as text fabric during construction. I can't help but be inspired by the wonder of kimonos that undoubtedly paved the way for this sustainable construction 'innovation', and the bolero crop style jacket that sits to flatter those with a shorter torso or square waist.
