Designed as a direct replacement for your factory ZF5 shift tower, this kit installs without welding or permanent modifications. The assembly features a billet aluminum housing, cage, and top hat along with Delrin bushings, shims, hardened precision-ground dowels, and a billet steel stem with an integrated reverse lockout tab for long-lasting durability and smooth operation. The kit includes installation hardware, but you will need to reuse the detent from your factory tower. RTV sealant such as The Right Stuff is recommended during installation. Your factory inner seal boot can be reused or replaced if needed, making installation straightforward for most ZF5 owners.
