Zinc oxide is a natural mineral, most often found in mineral sunscreens. Our Zinc oxide is produced from primary grade zinc and meets all US & European Pharmacopeia standards. It i s NOT micronized and is NOT classified as NANO. Zinc oxide is used in natural sunscreens due to its ability to form a protective barrier on the skin and offer broad spectrum protection against UV rays. It is used in diapers creams to protect the skin against excessive moisture and allow it to heal. It can also be used in deodorants by working to eliminate underarm bacteria and reducing odor.
