after spending over a year building our beautiful community, we want to bring what we learned back to you all in the hopes of reinforcing that community and taking the next step to build our village. every month, we plan to highlight local businesses / brands / creatives in our zine and bring you all together at a themed experience. multiple physical touchpoints, resources, discounts, art and each other to allow for more intention in the community that we are building and more sustainability in the connections that we build :) kaho's zine is our take on returning to physical media. in a heavily social media-ed + digitized world, we wanted to bring back the art of anticipation. like when we would eagerly wait for that letter to come through the mailbox or the next part of the episode during a commercial break. these moments are so visceral in our memories because not only are they often when we were most present, but also something experienced universally—in union; in community.
