They can be used in a variety of ways: as bottom stop replacements for all types of closed-end zippers as top stop replacements for nylon coil zippers as a method to convert a separating zipper to a closed end zipper Not sure which finish/color to get? Silver stops pair best with all nickel and aluminum metal zippers. They also pair well with any color molded plastic or nylon coil zipper. Brass stops pair best with all brass metal zippers and with molded plastic zippers and nylon coil zippers with yellow hues (think yellow, gold molded plastic zippers). Antique brass stops pair best with all antique brass metal zippers and with molded plastic zippers and nylon coil zippers with brown hues. Black stops pair best with black molded plastic zippers and black nylon coil zippers. Note: to reduce the unnecessary use of multiple plastic bags to separate the stops, all stops will come in the same bag. The difference in sizes will be easily distinguishable.
