A bright, cool-toned yellow that is opaque and lightfast with a smooth texture. Zirconium Yellow ( or Zircon to us for short) is made from a synthetic pigment whose color mimics th e sunny Yellow Zircon semi-precious gemstone. Handmade by Case for Making using the highest quality earth and synthetic pigments and natural watercolor binding medium made from gum arabic (sap from acacia trees), honey, glycerine and distilled water. Half Pans contain around 2ml of paint and are approximately 3/4" x 1/2" x 3/8" deep. Color Index number as provided by vendor: PY 159.77997. All CFM watercolors conform to ASTM D-4236. Show more
