Central to the design is Hi-Power X: a carbon-wrapped blank construction that boosts stiffness and resists twist, delivering crisper hooksets, increased casting distance, and superior control when loaded. Its Carbon Monocoque Grip, fashioned from hollow carbon, transmits vibrations more directly for exceptional sensitivity—helping anglers detect cover, lure action and faint bites. Combined with the CI4+ reel seat, built from Shimano’s lightweight, high-strength carbon-infused polymer, the rod creates a direct link between angler and lure. Now offered in 11 additional models, the Zodias range expands technique-specific options, including BFS, strolling, power and swimbait-oriented rods.
