The Zoo Med Creatures Jumping Spider Kit is a compact starter habitat designed for keeping jumping spiders and other small arboreal invertebrates. Its tall, clear enclosure provides the vertical climbing space, ventilation and visibility needed for easy everyday care and observation. Jumping spiders naturally spend much of their time climbing and exploring above ground level, often creating resting webs towards the top of their enclosure. This kit provides a simple way to create a suitable setup, with substrate, climbing décor and a spray bottle included to help you get started. Suitable For Jumping spiders (Salticidae) Other appropriately sized arboreal invertebrates Important Information Choose an appropriately sized enclosure for the particular species and size of spider being kept. Jumping spiders commonly build resting webs towards the upper areas of their enclosure, so suitable climbing structure and vertical space are important. Feed appropriately sized live insects suitable for the species and size of spider. Mist appropriately for the species being kept and avoid keeping the enclosure excessively wet. Always ensure the enclosure is securely closed to prevent escape. Looking for more housing options? Browse our invertebrate terrariums and enclosures.
