It's heavier than aluminum and costs more to build, but it flexes and absorbs rather than cracking, it can be repaired by any competent welder, and it holds up to the stress of a heavy bike carrying a rider over repeated impacts. No, but the 33.5" seat height is the tallest in the Zooz lineup and it suits riders over 5'10" best, especially if you pedal seated. Shorter riders do ride it — it just takes more of a lean at stops. If you're on the fence, come sit on one next to the Ultra Urban and the difference will be obvious in about ten seconds. What range should I actually expect? Zooz quotes 25 to 40 miles on throttle alone, and the spread is real. Commuting on pavement puts you near the top; riding hills and terrain aggressively puts you well below it. Pedaling extends it meaningfully. The 1,300Wh pack is the largest Zooz offers, so this is the longest-legged bike they make. How is the Flex different from the Ultra Urban? Suspension and size. The Flex adds full front and rear suspension, runs wider tires, carries a bigger battery, and has a taller seat height. The Ultra Urban is lighter and more manageable in tight spaces.
