Zulu Arrowleaf Clover will not tolerate extended waterlogging. Zulu Arrowleaf Clover has a maturity of 130 days and can grow up to four feet tall. This clover has deep roots that increase drought tolerance of the plant and extends the growing season. The roots are so deep they extend up to 1.5m into the soil profile enabling Zulu to continue to produce herbage long after traditional pastures have dried off. This makes for a very valuable asset where rainfall is likely to be insufficient. The Zulu Arrowleaf is a legume that is suitable for cattle and sheep grazing in different pasture management programs such as permanent pastures, temporary pastures, or rotational pastures. Zulu Arrowleaf Clover is a high-quality legume with high protein and is also considered a highly palatable and “bloat safe” legume for cattle. *Product packaging may appear different than what is pictured.~~~ This seed can be planted in the fall and can be sowed at a rate of 10-15 lbs per acre.
