A string quartet in 3 movements: 1-Alpha; 2-Convergence; 3-Omega. Based on the philosophical writings of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, it expresses his vision of the evolutionary pro cess of human behavior through the incorporation of various songs and chants which represent most of the world cultures, and brings them into ever closer inter-dependence in each succeeding movment.
