The Thinline Collection features striking “vining plant” inlays on the headstock. This is an Epiphone Sheraton II, manufactured in 2014. It features a laminated maple top, sides, a nd back; a maple center block; a maple 3-piece neck; a rosewood fingerboard; an “E” logo truss rod cover; two original humbuckers; and gold hardware. The bluesy tone that J.L. Hooker raved about is still very much present, and its appeal lies in a sound that suits a wide range of genres, including rock, jazz, and blues. There are signs of wear (minor scratches, scuffs, wear marks, playing lines, picking marks, buckle marks, discoloration, tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage).
