In 1872, 50 acres were deeded for a proposed cemetery. The first lot was purchased in 1873, and by 1877 there were 92 burials plus 10 bodies in the vault. In 1920, the bodies and t ombstones from the displaced Pultney Street Cemetery were relocated to the Pultney-in-Glenwood section of the Glenwood Cemetery and 630 bodies were re-interred. This index contains all the known burials in the largest cemetery in the City of Geneva, located in the town of Seneca, Ontario Co., NY.
