Fender Japan / The MG66-66 has arrived! Manufactured from 1999 to 2002, this is a 1966-spec Mustang that was never listed in the catalog. It features a logo without a patent number, a body without contouring, and Kluson-style tuners with white buttons. With a short-scale 22-fret design and a narrow nut width, this model makes it easy to play low chords and is highly recommended for players with smaller hands. Equipped with custom pickups, it features an out-of-phase sound via a toggle switch. It is equipped with a dynamic vibrato unit and is well-regarded for its smooth, light-touch vibrato action. The tremolo arm is missing. There is a crack in the wood around the screw hole on the control plate, which has been repaired with adhesive. The neck has a slight waviness on the bass string side, and there is a slight buzzing when the high frets on the bass string side are picked hard. There are scattered minor scratches and dents throughout the body, and the hardware shows some tarnish. Although it shows some signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
