On offer, an autographed letter on 12 Cavendish Road, St. John's Wood blue embossed type letterhead, dated Feb 16th, 97. Letter reads: Dear Mr Reade,Very many thanks for yr letter. I enclose cheque for the amount due & with very kind regards I remain yrs sincerely,Fanny Brough(Bolynn) (Cheque not included) Frances "Fanny" Whiteside Brough (1852-1914) was a Paris-born British stage actress who came from a literary and dramatic family. She is remembered especially for her many comedy roles performed over a four decade long career. This double sided letter is 4-½ x 6 inches, with a horizontal fold crease, some minor discolouration on the back, and a rough left edge. Anachronistic notation in upper left corner.
