England's signature grape variety, Bacchus. The 1276 Bacchus is made in a rounded style whilst preserving the fresh fruit and perfumed character of the grape. Aromas of elderflower , gooseberry & tangerine but the herbaceousness is tamed. The wine has texture and weight on the palate complemented by minerality. Located in Ledbury, 1276 takes its name from history. In 1276, the Bishop of Hereford recorded in his 'Red Book' the planting of vines on the south facing slopes of Ledbury. Vines have since been reintroduced and the 25-acre vineyard is thriving. Show more
