Producer Redbank is located in the King Valley region, which is situated at the highest altitude of any wine region in Australia. Its high altitude and cool climate create ideal growing conditions for sparkling wine, crisp Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir with tension. The local winegrowing families of Ross, Judd, and Murtagh acquired the brand in 2018 and now jointly operate the business. They have opened a new cellar door and expanded their range of wines. Tasting Note Made using Pinot Noir and Chardonnay in the 'method traditional,' which is the same method used to make Champagne, this wine is bright and crisp with a balanced mouthfeel. Its flavours include green apple, yellow grapefruit, and citrus zest, complemented by some more savoury flavours like cashew, button mushroom, and toast. The mid-palate is creamy and rounded, and it finishes with refreshing citrus.
