We also pay particular attention to the clay we use, using our own clay for pottery wheel and tatara molding. The red clay is molded into the clay, which is then coated with white decorative mud, glazed, and fired. To ensure comfortable use and microwave-safety, no chemicals or liquid ceramic coatings are used after firing.
