Why This Watch Matters With a chrono, sometimes you have to choose between the dial and the case - but not with this Breitling Premier reference 777. Here, you get both an oversized rose-gold case and a classy dial. This Premier is just that – first in class (as its french translation suggests). The Full Story The Breitling Premier 777 is quite a rare bird and is extremely coveted among Breitling enthusiasts for its larger case and elegant dials. The example we have here is the perfect combination of the 38 mm rose-gold case and the supremely balanced golden dial with sophisticated numerals. It is very rare to see a two-register chronograph of this dimension, in solid gold, with an amazing case back noting the waterproof, anti-magnetic, and shock-protected attributes of this watch. The case doesn’t display any major imperfections with the exception of some oxidation near the pushers. The engraving on the case back is still deep and crisp, which is proof that this watch has either never been polished or only lightly polished. The elegant dial is almost flawless with the exception of some small smudges on the sub-registers. A brilliant watch that we rarely see, and boy do we love it.
