1970s Universal Avometer Model 8 MkV This is a very nice 1970s Universal Avometer Model 8 MkV. The meter is in pretty good used working condition with some slight scuffs on the sur face. Approximate Dimensions (WHD): 16.7 x 19 x 11.5 cm A wonderful piece of electronic history, it comes with its leads. Although it does appear to be in working condition, it is being is sold as a collectible as I can't attest to its accuracy. A multimeter, the model 8 Mk V measures in ohms, amps and volts. The working instructions are printed on a metal label on the rear of the instrument but can also be found on the internet.
