This wine was cold soaked and fermented on skins for 14 days. It was then matured in 2 year old French and American oak barrels for 12 months. A classical and robust wine highlighting the natural spice and terroir of Mudgee. Tasting Notes: Lifted florals and perfumed sweet spice dominate the aromas, followed by a palate bursting with dark maraschino cherries and black plum, enveloped by red liquorice and hints of vanilla bean.
