A 60/40 blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay from Moonambel, Pyrenees. This year it also spent 3 days on Riesling skins at the start of fermentation (extra texture). Aged in both mature oak and stainless steel. Full malo of course. Added lees from other white cuvees for extra interest. Minimal sulphur pre bottling. "A beautifully hazy, shiny gold colour hits the glass. Pleasing haze in texture, a juiciness, a cut of briny minerality. green apple, lime, faint passionfruit juice and a dash of green herbs. Squishy and squeaky in texture, fresh feeling and a good trail of that saline stuff finishing. A wine of character and you could say likewise, finesse, though it will sit outside the box for many. My mind wandered to white of Savoie." MIKE BENNIE
