廣野洋 Echizen lacquerware featuring the Ainu-style "spiral" pattern! This is a collaboration between the artist 床州生 from the Ainu Kotan of Lake Akan and "Rokurosha", a maker of Echiz en lacquerware in Fukui Prefecture. The lacquerware has a raised base modeled on the Ainu ritual tool "Tuki" and is decorated with Ainu patterns in maki-e representing Morew (the Ainu word for spiral). Recommended as a souvenir for visitors from abroad or as a gift for those who love Japanese history and traditional crafts. We offer two types: a bowl and a cup. The bowl is suitable for various soups, including the Ainu traditional soup "Ohaw". Please feel free to use them together on your everyday table.
