Protect electrical connectors from contamination and unwanted contact during handling, storage, and transport with Menda circular conductive connector covers. Designed for applications where cleanliness and dependable connector protection are important, these covers combine conductive properties with a snug, conformable fit. The specialized composite material is free of carbon black particulate, helping prevent the black marks and residue associated with some conventional conductive materials. This makes the covers particularly useful in clean work environments and applications involving sensitive electrical and electronic components. Their flexible, conformable construction helps maintain a secure fit on compatible connectors, reducing the likelihood of covers becoming dislodged during handling or storage. The material is also noncorrosive, having demonstrated no visible corrosion when tested using Kovar test plates in accordance with Federal Test Method 101C. Manufactured in the United States, these connector covers are supplied in a case of 1,000 for production, assembly, maintenance, and other applications requiring a dependable supply of protective covers. Specifications Brand: Menda Product Type: Conductive Connector Cover Connector Style: Circular Specification: M5501/31A-605 SKU: 34205 Manufacturer Part Number: 34205 UPC: 363674162505 Material: Conductive composite Carbon Black Particulate: Free of carbon black particulate Corrosion Characteristics: Noncorrosive under the stated test method Packaging: Case Quantity: 1,000 Covers per Case Country of Origin: United States Ideal For Electrical connector protection Electronic equipment assembly Connector handling and storage Manufacturing and production environments Maintenance and repair operations Applications requiring conductive protective covers Clean work environments Protecting compatible circular connector interfaces Inventory and spare connector protection Conductive Protection Without Carbon Black Residue These covers are made from a conductive composite material that does not contain carbon black particulate. This construction is particularly beneficial in applications where conventional carbon-black-containing materials could leave unwanted marks or residue on components and surrounding surfaces. The result is a protective cover suited to environments where connector cleanliness and material compatibility are important. Conformable Design for Secure Coverage A connector cover must remain in place to provide effective protection during handling and storage. The conformable composite material helps the cover fit securely over compatible circular connectors, reducing the likelihood of accidental removal while helping keep covered areas clean. Noncorrosive Material Material compatibility is an important consideration when protecting electrical and electronic connectors. These covers have demonstrated no visible corrosion when evaluated using Kovar test plates under Federal Test Method 101C, making them a practical choice for applications where corrosion concerns must be minimized. Bulk Packaging for Production and Maintenance Each case contains 1,000 connector covers, providing a convenient supply for assembly operations, maintenance departments, and other facilities that regularly handle compatible connectors. Bulk packaging helps ensure replacement covers are available when needed for ongoing production or service work. Frequently Asked Questions What are these connector covers used for?
