Protect sensitive circular electrical connectors during handling, storage, and transportation with Menda conductive connector covers. Designed for compatible size 16R circular connectors, these protective covers provide a secure, conformable fit while helping keep connector interfaces clean and protected from dust, dirt, and incidental contact. Manufactured from a specialized conductive composite material, these covers are free of carbon black particulate, helping prevent unwanted black marks and residue associated with some conventional conductive materials. Their conductive properties make them particularly useful in electronics manufacturing, assembly, and other applications where electrostatic discharge (ESD) control is important. The conformable construction allows each cover to fit snugly over a compatible connector, reducing the likelihood of accidental removal during handling or storage. The material is also noncorrosive, producing no visible corrosion when tested using Kovar test plates in accordance with Federal Test Method 101C. Made in the USA, these connector covers meet specification M5501/31A-973 and are supplied in a case of 1,000 for production, maintenance, and other applications requiring dependable connector protection. These conductive covers help protect compatible connector interfaces while providing material properties suited to applications where electrostatic discharge is a concern. Their conductive construction makes them a practical choice for electronics production environments and maintenance operations that require appropriate connector protection. Carbon-Black-Free Construction Some conductive materials contain carbon black, which can leave unwanted marks or particulate residue. Menda's specialized composite material is free of carbon black particulate, making these covers particularly useful in clean applications where minimizing residue and surface marking is important. Secure, Conformable Fit A protective connector cover must remain securely in place to provide effective coverage. The conformable composite construction allows the cover to fit snugly over compatible size 16R connectors, helping prevent accidental removal and keeping covered connector areas clean. Noncorrosive Material Material compatibility is an important consideration when protecting electrical connectors. These covers produced no visible corrosion when tested using Kovar test plates in accordance with Federal Test Method 101C, making them useful for applications where corrosion concerns must be minimized. Bulk Packaging for Production and Maintenance Each case contains 1,000 connector covers, providing a convenient supply for manufacturing facilities, assembly operations, maintenance departments, and other workplaces that regularly handle compatible circular connectors. Bulk packaging helps ensure protective covers are available for ongoing production and service work. Frequently Asked Questions What are Menda 34211 connector covers used for?
