This precast gel utilizes a Bis-Tris buffering system and features plastic cassettes, offering superior resolution with sharper, clearer bands. Compared to conventional Tris-Glycine systems, this precast gel provides stronger buffering capacity. It is used with a neutral running buffer, which enhances gel stability and prevents protein post-translational modifications during electrophoresis. A proprietary casting technology ensures excellent batch-to-batch consistency in both performance and band pattern reproducibility, delivering reliable electrophoresis results. This series of precast gels includes both gradient and fixed-concentration formulations. The stacking gel height is 1.5 cm. Available gradient concentrations are 4–12% and 4–20%; fixed concentrations include 8%, 10%, and 12%. Each gel format offers either 10 or 15 wells: the maximum loading volume is 70 μL per well for 10-well gels and 40 μL per well for 15-well gels. These gels are compatible with Yeasen’s PET 2 Mini Vertical Protein Electrophoresis System for two gels (Cat# 80210ES / 80212ES) and PET 4 Mini Vertical Protein Electrophoresis System for four gels (Cat# 80211ES / 80213ES) when used with the dedicated precast gel sealing strips. They are also compatible with most standard mini SDS-PAGE electrophoresis systems, including Bio-Rad Mini-PROTEAN (II/3/Tetra Systems), Tanon VE180 (note: install sealing strips in reverse orientation), and Life Technologies Novex Mini-Cell (used with custom spacers). This precast gel is designed to be used with: Precast Running Buffer (Tris-MOPS), 2 L (Powder) (Cat# 36271ES). Features User-Friendly: Ready-to-use—simply peel off the blue tape at the bottom of the gel cassette before use. High Gel Toughness: Cast under mildly acidic conditions, making the gel resistant to cracking during electrophoresis or staining. Sharp Bands: Plastic cassettes are specially treated to minimize protein adsorption during electrophoresis, ensuring clear, well-defined bands. Consistent Quality: Proprietary casting technology ensures excellent batch-to-batch reproducibility and uniform band patterns. Running buffer:50 mM Tris, 50 mM Mops, 0.1% SDS, 1 mM EDTA.
