From the sample room of NY designer, this fabric is sooo pretty... a special occasion fabric with an unusual weave and little splashes of color and sparkle. The base fabric is an i vory silk organza, with yarns of varying textures and colors woven through. In addition to the ivory, there are shots of white gold, peach, aqua, red, etc. It has a crisp and light drape, and can be oriented so that the stripes run across, or vertically. Perfect for a dressy creation with structure: a jacket, dress, skirt, tunic, etc.... Some styles will need lining or layering as the fabric is very sheer.
